Community Energy specialise in generating affordable heating and hot water from sustainable energy sources and distributing it to customers connected to our district energy schemes.

District energy schemes comprise of centrally managed energy centres, which produce all of the heating and hot water for properties in the area. Heat and hot water is then distributed via a network of highly insulated pipes.

Some of the heat generated is a by-product of super-efficient electricity generation processes. This heat would normally be wasted at conventional power stations. The efficiency of the generation process, coupled with the use of renewable energy sources, results in much lower greenhouse gas emissions from our energy centres.
